I am a licensed Master Electrician with extensive experience in electrical construction across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Over the years, I have built a strong reputation for delivering safe, reliable, and code-compliant electrical installations while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
My career began in residential construction, where I gained hands-on knowledge wiring homes, installing service panels, lighting, outlets, and modern electrical systems that meet today’s energy and safety standards.
I later expanded into commercial projects, working on offices, retail spaces, restaurants, and specialized facilities. My work has included complete power distribution, lighting control systems, fire alarm systems, and tenant build-outs, always ensuring compliance with the NEC and local codes.
In the industrial sector, I have contributed to large-scale projects such as manufacturing plants, oilfield facilities, and data centers. I have experience with heavy conduit installations, motor controls, transformers, switchgear, and preventive maintenance programs that keep operations running efficiently and safely.
As a Master Electrician, I also take on responsibilities in quality control, safety compliance, and mentoring apprentices, ensuring that every project not only meets client expectations but also upholds the highest industry standards.
Whether the project is a new construction, a remodel, or a critical facility upgrade, I bring the knowledge, problem-solving skills, and leadership to get the job done right the first time.

Douglas has over 20+ years experience developing and scaling teams for large corporations. With experience running divisions for national brands like Orion Talent, and KForce, he spent three years building, from scratch, an entire division with Indeed, proving a global brand could in fact, change the world. The Akecheta Group is a realization of over 20 years of experience and a sincere passion to help fellow Texans. Douglas is a veteran of the US Army, having served with the 2nd Ranger BN at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Garth Robertson - COO
Garth has over 20 years of experience in the trades. He is a journeyman electrician and an expert managing any sized project for both residential and commercial properties. His vast experience includes, but is not limited to, work on the Seattle Seahawks Stadium - Lumen Field, as well as the Cal Berkley Performing Arts Center. Garth is committed to delivering the highest quality work on time and on target. He is a veteran of the Navy SWCC boat teams based out of Norfolk, VA.
